I had soooo many things I wanted to blog about today on user experience, eco-marketing, and usability, but instead I am ending this long day with a quick post for nostalgia's sake.
Looking over our feeds today, Avery forwarded this post to me from Crave about DIY MP3 players. It's kind of a techie post and one that will only appeal to some of our die hard geeks, but it ranks way high on the "sweet" meter with us.
Seeing how Donald Bell of CNET Networks and author of this post used the Little Professor Calculator as his chance to build his own MP3 player, I just about died. That was the coolest tech gadget in my day. I loved that thing. It made "running the numbers" cool. Bringing it back to life as a MP3 player, is truly just the ultimate!!! I wonder if Speak and Spell is next! Ah, the simplicity of tech toys from my childhood... sigh! I think I need to go and watch an episode from Land of the Lost and truly revert back to simpler times!

OMG - this is sooooo cool! I always wanted a Merlin! Now I'm really bitter I never had one.
